We Built a platform for the Conversations That Actually Matter

After two decades in customer communication, working with global enterprises and scaling platforms across continents, you start to see the same patterns, and the same blind spots. The tools get more advanced. AI gets smarter. The dashboards get shinier. But for many businesses, especially mid-sized ones, the problems don’t go away. They just get more expensive.

That’s why I got excited and wanted to be part of TabaTalk.

Not because I wanted to build another contact center platform.

But because I wanted to help build the right one. For the teams that have been overlooked. For the region that has been underserved. And for the conversations that are still too complicated.

The problem that wouldn’t go away

In my years at my previous companies that I have worked for, I had the pleasure to work with some of the most sophisticated communication setups in the world. I saw what great teams could achieve when the right infrastructure, insight, and agility came together. But I also saw what many businesses, especially in the Gulf, were still up against.

Mid-sized contact centers, often with 30 to 150 agents, are everywhere in the GCC. They’re scaling fast, moving to the cloud, trying to modernize their outreach. But they face three consistent barriers:

  • Global vendors won’t prioritize them.
They’re too small for enterprise deals, too large for basic tools.
  • Local options lack depth.
Compliance might be there, but the technology is outdated or fragmented.
  • The conversation gets lost in the tech.
Tools promise automation but deliver complexity. They create distance when they should be building trust.

I’ve spoken to dozens of leaders caught in this gap. I know their frustration. And I knew we could fix it.

Why the partnership

When I met Martin Kalinov, it was clear we shared the same mindset:
Keep things simple. Build what matters. Let people focus on their work.

Martin had the product vision. He understood what it meant to design for ease, for clarity, for people. I had seen the scale and operational side. Together, we had the ingredients to build something rare, a platform that was both enterprise-ready and locally relevant.

That’s what TabaTalk became:
A platform with proven global tech, customized for the Gulf, backed by leaders who’ve built and grown some of the best in the space.

What “Connect Seamlessly” means to me

Every brand needs a slogan. But for me, “Connect Seamlessly” isn’t a line we came up with in a workshop. It’s a filter for every decision we make.

It means that:

  • The platform doesn’t get in your way
  • The tech feels invisible, because it’s working
  • Compliance is handled, so you don’t need to worry about it
  • Your team focuses on the conversation, not the system
  • The call gets through, the WhatsApp message is read, the agent sees what they need in real time

In other words, the connection happens, without the friction.

That’s what most teams are missing. Not more features. Not louder claims. Just less noise. More flow.

What we’re building is a real alternative

TabaTalk isn’t trying to compete with the giants on their turf. We’re giving mid-sized businesses in the GCC their own turf, with a product built for them from day one.

This means:

  • Real-time dashboards and analytics that help you act, not just react
  • AI-powered tools that save time without sacrificing the human touch
  • Omnichannel support that actually integrates the channels your customers use
  • BYOC and full regional compliance, right out of the box

And most importantly, a user experience that feels like it was built by someone who has actually sat on the other side of a headset or dashboard.

The future is local, seamless, and human

The GCC is growing faster than many global markets when it comes to cloud adoption and digital transformation. But growth without the right infrastructure creates friction. TabaTalk is here to remove that friction.

We are here to support the teams that make the real conversations happen.
The sales call that turns into a deal.
The support ticket that earns back trust.
The moment when a customer feels heard, not handled.

That’s what matters.

And that’s why I’m here.

Companies with strong omnichannel engagement strategies retain 89% of their customers, compared to just 33% for those with weak strategies. That gap translates directly into lost revenue, missed opportunities, and inconsistent customer experiences. Most businesses still operate across disconnected channels. Email sits in one system, SMS in another, supports conversations somewhere else. Customers feel that fragmentation […]

A McKinsey report found that 75% of customers expect consistent experiences across every interaction, yet most businesses still deliver fragmented support. That gap shows up fast when a customer starts on live chat, gets redirected to email, then repeats the same issue again on a phone call. Customers don’t think in channels, they think in outcomes. […]
